They spend around 18 months of barrel aging to create amazing flavor profiles, and once you’ve tasted it you’ll know it’s worth the wait.
Bend Brewing Co
Bend Brewing Company is located in the downtown area and it is the second oldest brewpub here. They have a nice outdoor patio space with a fire pit. Silver Moon Brewing has been a true local fixture in Bend and anyone who loves beer around here has been to this pub. As far as food pairings go, we would definitely recommend their IPA smoked, handmade bratwursts.
Crux Fermentation Project
Crux Fermentation Project used to be an automotive plant but surprise, surprise it is now an eclectic brewpub. They use unconventional methods of brewing such as open fermentation, special type of mashing as well as barrel aging and what you get are unexpectedly delicious flavors. Wild yeast adds further to the complexities of the brews. Visit during Sundown Hour, when the sun is actually setting, so you get a huge discount on their beers on tap.
Monkless Belgian Ales
Inspired by real monks in Belgium who made craft beer back in the day, Monkless Belgian Ales adopts the same, slow, patient methods the monks used, and tradition is a vital part of the process. Go to the Brasserie to order their Belgian food and drinks, munch on schnitzel, juicy bratwurst and poutine.
