Limited international flights

They have routes to several destinations in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America but they don’t have routes to other destinations however.

A Note on Southwest Airlines Baggage Fees

Southwest Airlines is known for its affordable prices and unique policies, including its baggage fees. Unlike most other airlines, Southwest does not charge baggage fees for the first two checked bags. However, there are still some rules and restrictions that passengers should be aware of when it comes to Southwest Airlines baggage fees.

First of all, it’s important to note that this airline only allows two checked bags per passenger. Any additional bags will be subject to a fee. Additionally, each bag must weigh no more than 50 pounds and have dimensions of no more than 62 inches (length + width + height).

If you do need to check more than two bags, they charge $75 per additional bag. This fee applies to both domestic and international flights.

It’s also worth noting that Southwest Airlines does not charge for carry-on bags. Passengers are allowed one carry-on bag and one personal item (such as a purse or laptop bag) per person. However, the carry-on bag must fit in the overhead bin and the personal item must fit under the seat in front of you.

While SWA does not charge baggage fees for the first two checked bags, there are some exceptions to this policy. Passengers traveling on international flights may be subject to baggage fees, even for their first two checked bags. Moreover, passengers traveling on Southwest’s codeshare partners (such as AirTran or Volaris) may be subject to different baggage policies and fees.
